CHILDREN from Lickey Hills Primary School can take a pew' anytime now that they have been given a bench from Lickey Church.
The pew has been positioned in the quiet area of the school playground for children to rest, read or chat.
Head teacher, Stephen Wallins said: "We really value our relationship with the parish church and once again the school has benefited from the church's kindness and its support."

Rev Philip Swan, the vicar of Lickey Church with St Catherine's Blackwell, said: "I thought this was a good opportunity to literally take the church into the community and offer one of the pews, which have been taken out of the church."
