Fuchsia fans flock for local advice

| BRIGHT FUCHSIA: Discussing the merits of a Fulgens Rubra Grandiflora fuchsia are Andrew Rudge, Violet Rudge, Jean Mitchell and Peter Mitchell who were manning the society's showstand. |
MEMBERS of the Bromsgrove-based North Worcestershire Fuchsia Society were kept busy on their showstand at Malvern's Spring Garden Show by fuchsia fans keen to know more about this popular plant.
"It's been a hectic but enjoyable time", said Peter Mitchell, one of the group at the show.
"We have been inundated by visitors to the stand who all wanted to discuss the plant and to find out more about successful growing techniques and developments."
Among the visitors to the stand were tv celebrity Carol Vorderman and her sister.
"Both of them were very interested and asked quite a few questions," added Peter.
