OLDER Bromgrove residents who feel passionately about the withdrawal of their £30 car parking permits are to get the chance to meet the leader of the council to air their views.
Members of Bromsgrove's Forum for Older People are getting together a list of 30 representatives from all walks of life and disabilities who they feel will be best able to put over their points of view and suggestions to Roger Hollingworth regarding car parking in the town.

Carole Tipping, secretary of the older people's forum, said: "Councillor Hollingworth has agreed to meet thirty people in the council chamber, so we are looking for representatives from other appropriate groups in the Bromsgrove area who would like to attend a meeting to be held on June 3 to discuss the issues involved. We can then decide on which proposals would be most viable to take to the meeting and choose a group of thirty people to represent the older people of Bromsgrove." For a place at the pre-meeting on June 3 contact Carole Tipping on 07710 689433, treasurer Geoff Edwards on 01527 874107 or Keith Sherman, of Age Concern, on 01527 8718420.
