1:59pm Wednesday 14th May 2008
I READ the letters page each week and I am surprised and annoyed with the attitude of so many about Bromsgrove's High Street.

RECENTLY some friends and myself visited the Artrix Theatre, Bromsgrove, to see Us and Our Education' performed by adults with learning difficulties.

Discriminating
1:37pm Wednesday 14th May 2008
IS there any truth in the rumour that Bromsgrove's Cllr Roger Hollingworth is planning to dismantle all special facilities for the disabled on the grounds that it discriminates against the able-bodied?

Re-assessment
1:31pm Wednesday 14th May 2008
IT has recently come to my attention, that Bromsgrove District Council believes it has improved that quickly, they have decided on requesting a second Comprehensive Performance Assessment from the Audit Commission.

1:29pm Wednesday 14th May 2008
HOW lovely that Jacqui Smith found time to meet the police and Neighbourhood Watch D' Division at Redditch and how nice of her to make them feel that they are a "much valued part of the police family" .

10:56am Thursday 8th May 2008
I HAVE have been a regular user of Amphlett Hall for 30 years and I am constantly amazed to discover that many Bromsgrove people do not know of its existence.

Helping animals
10:34am Thursday 8th May 2008
I CAME across a heartfelt plea from your local animal sanctuary, Highfields' - 300 mouths to feed, battling against the odds.' In this town we have at least two shops and one supermarket where bins are soon overflowing with tins and packets for local animal homes. Surely the same could be initiated in Bromsgrove and help provide some nurture for those scraps of life discarded through no fault of their own.
