HERE we are again - the wallies at Bromsgrove District Council trying to balance their books by wanting to put up more charges for parking in the town.
Of course, they have to generate enough income to fund their salaries!
Three and half years ago I wrote and said I felt there should be no parking charges for anyone, to encourage people to come to Bromsgrove to shop.

Need I say, Told you so' - at the time I stated that this council would make Bromsgrove a ghost town.
Bromsgrove used to be a lovely thriving shopping centre. Out of town visitors used to love to come to our pretty town.
I bet if someone did some market research in Bromsgrove, it would come as no surprise to find very few people now visit the area. I haven't shopped there now for 3 years.
And this latest idea move on parking charges will drive more people out of the town.
