Bromsgrove firefighters attended the scene at 8.14pm, between Junctions 3 (Halesowen) and Junction 4 (Lydiate Ash).

No one in the vehicle was trapped, or injured in the incident.

Crews were also called out at 1.54am last Thursday, (May 1) where a Nissan people carrier was on fire in Rigby Lane. On arrival the car was 90 per cent burnt out, and firefighters worked to make the vehicle safe. There were no injuries.
